About US ... um HorseSouth ... or ME!

Well, you’ve gone and done it now! This is a bit of a story. But, this is the south and we are known for our stories. My name is Sylvi Vanattia and I am the publisher of HorseSouth. This website is a renaissance. HorseSouth was first published before I was born. In fact, I interrupted the first year of production by trying to be born early. I just couldn’t wait to get out! I guess you can say I’ve remained rather stubborn and unstoppable ever since.

I decided to relaunch HorseSouth as my senior capstone project and quickly fell in love with the idea of expanding back to it’s former glory … and frankly beyond. Because, y’all … Momma was trying to raise three little gremlins while trying to write articles, travel, do layout and design, and occasionally vacuum the house.

You’ll learn more about me as time goes on, but that’ll get ya started.
